The Formula 1 season enters its final stretch with the last triple-header: Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. Amid assessments and future plans, the team approaches the concluding races with optimism, buoyed by progress shown in São Paulo and a strong desire to finish a challenging season on a high note.
Nielsen and the team vision
Steve Nielsen, the team’s CEO, stated: “We approach the final triple-header of the season with optimism, after improving our performance and reaching a much more competitive level in São Paulo, where Pierre managed to score two points… We will still give our best to try to score even more points in the next three races, as we did in São Paulo. Las Vegas is a unique circuit for many reasons and usually holds some surprises, such as Pierre’s qualifying performance a year ago when he finished third.”
Gasly and Colapinto: enthusiasm and goals ahead of Las Vegas
Pierre Gasly reflected on São Paulo and the upcoming Las Vegas race: “I left São Paulo relatively satisfied with the two points we scored… It’s always fantastic to race along the famous Strip and around the city’s landmarks, like the Venetian Resort, our team partner… The goal is to have a much more complete weekend this time and, hopefully, improve on our performance in Brazil.”
Franco Colapinto added: “The São Paulo weekend was challenging for my part of the garage, but it was positive to have a more competitive package… It was fantastic to share that I will remain with the team for the 2026 season… The conditions will be a challenge, with the schedule and dropping desert temperatures certainly affecting our preparation. We will focus and aim to get the most out of the weekend.”
Las Vegas is not just a glamorous stage, but a crucial testing ground for the team. Nielsen looks to the future with pragmatism, Gasly aims for a complete weekend, and Franco Colapinto brings enthusiasm and perspective. The final triple-header thus becomes an opportunity to consolidate progress and finish the season with determination before the 2026 project kicks into full gear.
