Christian Horner poised to return as F1 Team Principal
Reports from England suggest that Christian Horner, former Red Bull Team Principal, could soon return to Formula 1 in a leading role, potentially for a Ferrari-linked customer team. Despite rumors about Ferrari’s interest, Christian Horner appears close to finalizing a deal that would allow him to re-enter the sport immediately. The Briton recently reached an agreement with Red Bull regarding his exit, including financial terms and a gardening clause, paving the way for a new chapter in his career.
Christian Horner ready to take center stage again
While Horner will need to wait a few more months before officially returning, signs indicate that discussions are already underway. According to today’s edition of the Daily Mail, Christian Horner has set his sights on Haas and is reportedly interested in a role similar to Toto Wolff’s at Mercedes. In addition to becoming Team Principal, Horner would also take a stake in the American team. The British newspaper adds that Gene Haas, the team owner, is open to such an arrangement.
Family approval remains key
Before formalizing the deal, Horner wants to secure approval from his wife, Geri. The former Spice Girls singer has supported him through the months of controversy surrounding allegations from a former employee. For this reason, Horner is placing great importance on his family’s opinion in what will be a crucial decision for his professional future.
