While completing its first shakedown at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Cadillac has unveiled the official team merchandise for its debut 2026 Formula 1 season. The images shared across the team’s social media channels reveal key details about what could be the new livery of the American team’s first F1 car: the photos give fans their first sneak peek.
Cadillac ready for its F1 debut
The American team is now set to start its journey in the pinnacle of four-wheel motorsport. A few weeks ago, at the Silverstone circuit, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez completed the first kilometers of the 2026 car, marking the team’s return to Formula 1. Sources indicate that both drivers are highly satisfied with the Ferrari power unit powering the Cadillac cars.
As preparations continue for the Australian Grand Prix, Cadillac took to the track in Barcelona on Monday, January 26, for the first day of the shakedown. During the three days allocated to all teams, the focus will be on completing as many laps as possible. This is crucial both for familiarizing the drivers with the new generation cars and for ensuring all systems, particularly the engine, function correctly.

Merchandise hints at the livery
Just minutes ago, Cadillac unveiled its official 2026 team merchandise, offering early hints of the car’s new livery. The reveal precedes the official livery presentation, which is scheduled for February 8 during the Super Bowl. The t-shirts are completely black, featuring subtle white and red lines that echo the colors of team sponsor Tommy Hilfiger.
Will Cadillac go predominantly black for its F1 debut? This seems likely based on the merchandise. It’s also possible that the official livery will closely resemble the one used during testing, naturally updated with sponsor logos and dominated by the large General Motors emblem on the rear of the car.
As the countdown to the Super Bowl launch continues, Cadillac is proving it knows how to build hype. By combining a veteran driver lineup with a powerhouse technical partnership, the 11th team on the grid is making it clear they aren’t just here to participate—they are here to make a statement.
