F1 | Audi unveils its first 2026 car: here are the colors of the German team. Audi has revealed the concept of its 2026 F1 car.

Audi has presented the concept of its 2026 Formula 1 car, offering fans the first glimpse of how the German team will look next season. While this is not the final car that will hit the track during the Barcelona testing, it provides an early idea of the team’s design and colors.The historic German manufacturer recently acquired Sauber and is preparing for its debut in the pinnacle of motorsport. The driver lineup will feature Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg, combining an experienced driver with a rising talent. Key figures guiding the team include Jonathan Wheatley as Team Principal and Mattia Binotto as CEO.

Audi’s announcement for the next season

In a move that surprised many, Audi decided to unveil an early preview of its F1 project ahead of its official 2026 launch. The company revealed the colors that will feature on the upcoming R26. The event took place in Munich, but fans worldwide were able to follow the car’s launch through a virtual presentation.

The team aims to make a significant impact in Formula 1 and establish a long-term presence. Audi will produce its own engines and plans to leverage the new regulations to be competitive from the start, even though the initial phase is expected to be challenging.

The team stated on its social media channels that “our entry into Formula 1 with the Audi R26 Concept represents a commitment to a principle that has always guided us: we race for progress as well as for results. This commitment is rooted in the legacy of Audi Motorsport icons, from the pioneering Auto Union Type C to the revolutionary approach of the Audi RS Q e-tron.”
