After retiring from F1, Daniel Ricciardo is ready to get back on track with a new adventure.
Less than a year ago, he was forced to say goodbye to the Circus. The many difficulties he faced after his return, combined with a restless Liam Lawson waiting in the wings, led Helmut Marko and Christian Horner to bench Daniel Ricciardo, effectively forcing him into retirement from Formula 1.
Daniel Ricciardo ready for a new adventure
In the following months, there were rumors of a potential return for the Australian driver with Cadillac. Rumors Daniel Ricciardo himself dismissed when asked about it, firmly replying, “No, I’m done.” This break from the Formula 1 world was confirmed by the announcement of his new venture. The former Red Bull driver recently revealed a brand-new project that will see him fully involved in a completely different arena.
“Slowing down for a moment felt nice. But I miss that thrill and that energy. I have a new passion now, even if it’s different from the previous one. Instead of pit stops, there’ll be pork ribs. In the end, it’s all about good food, good company, and making days better. I really can’t wait. I’ll have Dabble by my side and we’ll take tailgating to a whole new level,” said Daniel Ricciardo, commenting on his new adventure.
Tailgating refers to a uniquely American tradition of gathering in parking lots before sports events to grill, eat, and socialize. It’s a new world that Daniel Ricciardo is diving into, with the same trademark smile that won the hearts of millions of fans.
