Cadillac has unveiled a special cowboy-inspired Formula 1 livery for the 2026 United States Grand Prix, embracing the spirit of Texas with a distinctive black-and-white design featuring western-style stars and redesigned driver numbers. The American team will showcase its new look at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin as it celebrates one of its home races.
The United States Grand Prix will be a home event for two American Formula 1 teams, with both Cadillac and Haas introducing special liveries for the occasion. While Haas has revealed a design called “Godzilla Minus Zero”, sharing its name with the upcoming Godzilla film scheduled for release in American cinemas in early November, Cadillac has chosen a distinctly Texan theme.
Cadillac reveals cowboy-inspired F1 livery for Austin
Developed in collaboration with GM Design Studios, Cadillac’s special United States Grand Prix livery retains a striking combination of black and white while introducing decorative elements inspired by traditional cowboy clothing.
The design features light-coloured star patterns against a black background, reflecting the distinctive western aesthetic associated with Texas. The changes extend beyond the car’s bodywork, with the drivers’ racing numbers also receiving a new design inspired by classic western lettering.
Rather than simply celebrating the United States Grand Prix as an American sporting event, Cadillac has focused specifically on the identity of Texas, the state that hosts the race.
The result is a distinctive interpretation of the team’s existing colour scheme, combining its established visual identity with details inspired by the culture of the American West.
Cadillac hopes Texas-themed design brings better luck at United States GP
Although Cadillac will arrive in Austin with a special livery, its situation on the track remains difficult. The American outfit is currently the only team yet to score a point in the 2026 Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship.
The United States Grand Prix therefore represents another important opportunity for Cadillac to make progress during its debut Formula 1 season. The team will be hoping that its eye-catching Texas-inspired design coincides with an improvement in its competitive fortunes.
With the Austin weekend providing a home-race atmosphere and additional attention for American teams, Cadillac will be eager to turn its strong visual statement into a more encouraging performance on the circuit.

The new design combines Cadillac’s familiar black-and-white colours with western-style stars and distinctive racing numbers, creating a direct visual connection with the cowboy traditions of Texas.

For Cadillac, the special livery provides an opportunity to celebrate its American identity at one of Formula 1’s most recognisable venues. However, the team’s greater priority remains securing its first championship points and building a stronger foundation for the future.
