Cadillac to unveil its F1 team today: how and where to watch the unique launch show. Cadillac will unveil its first F1 car in a show unlike anything seen before.

Cadillac F1

When it comes to putting on a show, Americans know how to do it—and that’s exactly why Cadillac’s F1 team launch will take place during a never-before-seen show-event in Formula 1. After making a surprise appearance on track at Silverstone, the American team officially debuted during the closed-door pre-season tests in Barcelona. There, the team completed 146 laps, showcasing a temporary livery designed exclusively for those sessions.

At the wheel of the 11th F1 team are two experienced drivers: Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, who are eager to return to the grid as full-time Formula 1 drivers. Excitement is running high for the Cadillac launch because the livery will be unveiled during one of the most iconic American events: the Super Bowl.

In the meantime, the team released a teaser to build anticipation. The mini clip includes the famous speech by US President J.F. Kennedy at Rice University in September 1962, where he declared: “We choose to go to the Moon. We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things. Not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”

Cadillac: what time to follow the launch

The Cadillac launch will take place during the night of February 8–9 for European viewers, coinciding with the American Super Bowl. Securing an ad spot during one of the biggest US events is a privilege, but it comes at a steep cost. Last year, companies reportedly paid between $7 and $10 million for just 30 seconds of airtime.

While expensive, the investment has its rewards: the Super Bowl guarantees an audience of 100 to 120 million viewers in the United States alone. The ads then gain global visibility, which is why the commercials are often anticipated even more than the sporting event itself. Over the decades, various brands, as well as television and movie releases, have used their 30 seconds of “glory” to promote themselves.

With so many commercials airing during the broadcast, pinpointing the exact moment of Cadillac’s reveal will be impossible. After the spot airs, the F1 team’s social channels will share photos and videos of the new livery.

Cadillac: where to follow the F1 team launch

The Cadillac F1 launch will be available on the team’s social media channels, including its official YouTube profile and website, making it easy for fans around the world to catch every moment of the historic reveal.

Cadillac’s decision to launch their F1 identity during the Super Bowl is a bold statement of intent, signaling their desire to bridge the gap between American sports entertainment and global motorsport. By leveraging the immense reach of the NFL’s championship game, the team is ensuring that their entry into the 2026 season is not just a technical milestone, but a cultural event. As the countdown to the commercial break begins, the eyes of both F1 enthusiasts and millions of Super Bowl viewers will be on Cadillac, marking the start of a difficult but historic journey toward the front of the grid.
