Cadillac F1 teases third driver: big announcement expected tomorrow. Cadillac F1 is hinting at a major announcement regarding its third driver.

Cadillac F1

The Cadillac F1 team appears ready to make a major announcement as soon as tomorrow. In recent hours, the American brand has been dropping increasingly intriguing hints across its social media channels, sparking a wave of speculation among fans and the paddock alike.

One recent post in particular has caught the attention of the Formula 1 community. The image features a pair of feline eyes, and a closer look reveals a subtly embedded Cadillac logo alongside the number 24—or at least something resembling it. On the starting grid, the number 24 immediately brings to mind one name: Guanyu Zhou, who is also known for his love of cats, connecting the image cleverly to the driver.

Adding fuel to the rumors, Ferrari recently confirmed on social media that Zhou would be leaving the team. Zhou, who served as Ferrari’s reserve driver in 2025 and previously raced for Alfa Romeo-Sauber between 2022 and 2024, made history as the first Chinese driver to compete in Formula 1. This could be a significant commercial and global growth opportunity for a brand like Cadillac.

Other subtle hints may have been present on the American team’s social accounts for some time. Observant fans noticed that a promotional image posted by Cadillac on December 9 appeared to have a figure conspicuously edited out. The question now is whether Zhou was deliberately removed from the shot to preserve the surprise.

If that is the case, all the pieces are falling into place. Cadillac’s cryptic social campaign, Ferrari’s timing, and Zhou’s availability all point in the same direction. Confirmation may not be far off, and if the clues are accurate, the mystery could be solved as early as tomorrow.

For Cadillac, securing a driver with Zhou’s experience and commercial backing would be a perfect way to round out their debut lineup. As the team prepares for its historic entry onto the grid, adding a veteran of the ground-effect era to support their primary drivers could provide the technical stability needed to compete in the midfield. All eyes now turn to Cadillac’s official channels for what promises to be one of the most talked-about reveals of the pre-season.
