Audi has unveiled a striking green and gold livery for the 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix, celebrating Gabriel Bortoleto’s home race with a special Brazilian-inspired design. The German team will introduce the new colours at Interlagos this weekend, as Formula 1 concludes its triple-header of races across the Americas.
The team led by Mattia Binotto has revealed a special livery created by title sponsor Revolut, following the recent launch of a new payment card dedicated to São Paulo. The occasion provided an ideal opportunity to celebrate Gabriel Bortoleto’s home Grand Prix and bring the colours of the Brazilian flag onto the Formula 1 grid.
The Brazilian driver returned to the points at last weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix, making the most of Alpine’s difficulties. He will now have the opportunity to compete in front of his home supporters in a car featuring the national colours of Brazil.
Audi reveals green and gold R26 livery for São Paulo Grand Prix
Both Audi R26 cars will feature the special green and gold colour scheme, with the drivers’ race suits receiving a matching redesign. The suits have a particularly elegant appearance, combining a solid dark green base with gold detailing.
The car itself uses the same colours but adopts a considerably more elaborate and unconventional design. Green covers most of the bodywork, appearing in several different shades that give the livery an almost military camouflage-like appearance.
Matte gold brushstrokes provide contrast across the nose, including the drivers’ numbers, as well as the mirrors and sidepods. These details help soften the predominantly green design while giving the R26 a distinctive appearance for the Brazilian weekend.
Black remains the dominant colour on the engine cover and wings, although these areas also feature white or gold sponsor logos. Red provides a final contrast to the Brazilian colours, appearing sparingly around the edges of the airbox and the vertical sidepod inlets.
Revolut and Audi celebrate Gabriel Bortoleto’s home Grand Prix
The special livery forms part of a wider collaboration involving Revolut and Adidas, extending the Brazilian-inspired theme beyond the car itself to the drivers’ clothing and team garage.
“São Paulo has an unmistakable identity, and we wanted that character to run through everything we bring to the track for this race,” said Stefano Battiston, Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of the Audi Revolut F1 Team.
“The special Revolut Audi R26 livery brings that story directly onto the circuit, building on the concept of the Revolut card and the Adidas Sampa Soul collection, with the race suits and garage branding completing this shared creative language.”
Battiston also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the team’s commercial partners and the significance of the initiative for Gabriel Bortoleto’s home race.
“It demonstrates what we can achieve when we bring our partners together: each contributes its own expertise, creating a harmonious and coherent result.”
“For Gabi’s home race, this initiative represents a particularly meaningful expression of our identity as a team and the way we connect with fans.”
