Alpine heads to Austin for the United States Grand Prix
The Alpine team could have some updates for the next round of the 2024 Formula 1 season, the United States Grand Prix, which is set to take place at the 5.513-kilometre Circuit of The Americas in Austin on Sunday, October 20. However, it won’t be related to the car itself, as the fans of the French team might hope, but at least something superficial might change for the Texas event.
The French team has posted an enigmatic video on its social media channels showing a truck departing from Los Angeles heading to Circuit of The Americas in Austin: the truck is loaded with a crate labeled “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” the video game set to be released on December 9.

Social media is buzzing with theories, the most credible being that there will be a special livery for the weekend of October 18-20, when Formula 1 returns to the track in Austin. There are also sarcastic comments mocking the recent difficulties of the French team, with some pointing out that there won’t be any new engine inside the crate and others confusing the truck with the A524 itself: sarcasm that perfectly fits the character created by George Lucas.
