The Williams rear wing was selected after an online contest: it features six fictional characters dressed in outfits inspired by the team’s history.
Williams revamped in Austin
Williams and Kraken have just unveiled the design of the rear wing that will adorn the FW46 at the United States Grand Prix. As chosen by the fans, who voted for it among 12 options in the Rear Wing Takeover contest, the car will feature six digital alter egos of fans from the Williams Racing Cosmos Collection.
Each fan received their own digital alter ego and could have it appear on the car, then sent their design to Williams. The winning design, which gathered over 35,000 votes, features characters from the Cosmos Collection dressed in outfits inspired by different eras of the team’s history.
