Between some technical issues and a car that was difficult to interpret, Pierre Waché did not hide his dissatisfaction with the work done. The technical director, who recently took over from Adrian Newey, had spoken about the possibility of experiencing a 2025 season similar to 2024. Last year, after a strong start, Horner’s team struggled with a car that was difficult to develop, while rival teams closed the gap.
Max regains confidence?
“After the first day of testing, Max was very happy,” Jos Verstappen told Joe Radio. “In the following days, they changed some things, and the feeling was no longer the same.
