Red Bull: Sergio Perez clarifies his F1 future and makes an announcement. Sergio Perez spoke again about his future with Red Bull in Formula 1.

Sergio Perez is very confident about his future at Red Bull and does not miss an opportunity to clarify his position. Even during the United States Grand Prix at the Austin circuit, the Mexican had the chance to talk about his future with the Austrian team and left no room for doubt.

The number 11 driver chose to address all the rumors about a possible departure. Especially after Daniel Ricciardo’s dismissal, rumors intensified about an internal upheaval at Red Bull that could lead to significant changes in the driver line-ups. Helmut Marko himself spoke about the Red Bull seat for the upcoming season, clarifying that Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson are also in the running to become Max Verstappen’s teammate. However, Sergio Perez continues to have a contract with the Austrian team until 2025.

Just a few days ago, Sergio Perez again denied the rumors suggesting he might leave Formula 1 with an Instagram post. The post featured a clip from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” where Leonardo DiCaprio repeatedly says, “I’m staying here.” Now, after that hint on social media, the Mexican has chosen to respond directly to the speculations.

Sergio Perez also shared his thoughts on young drivers like Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto. “It’s great to see these new drivers coming in and proving to be competitive right away. Now drivers arrive much more prepared than when I started. They are with F1 teams for almost their entire careers, they watch many F1 races, they know how it works. So it’s fantastic to see them,” concluded Sergio Perez, ahead of the United States Grand Prix in Austin.
