Red Bull conquers world of football: new sponsor announced. Red Bull has entered La Liga by becoming one of the main sponsors of Atletico Madrid.

The connection between Red Bull and football is growing stronger, with the Austrian multinational leaving an indelible mark on the world of sports. Red Bull’s next step in football is its entry into the Spanish market through a three-year sponsorship deal with Atletico Madrid, one of the country’s most historic and prestigious teams, led by Diego Simeone.

The official announcement of the new agreement came on Thursday, January 9, via social media posts on the Spanish club’s official profiles. This deal places Red Bull among the top four sponsors of the club, alongside Riyadh Air, which remains the primary sponsor, contributing approximately €40 million annually.

Official agreement between Red Bull and Atletico Madrid: it becomes a title sponsor
The collaboration between Red Bull and Atletico Madrid is a novelty in the Spanish football landscape. The Colchoneros are the first team in the Iberian Peninsula to strike such a deal with the energy drink brand.

However, Atletico is not the first football club to join Red Bull’s sponsorship portfolio. With prestigious teams like Leipzig, Salzburg, the New York Red Bulls, and Bragantino, the brand has shown its commitment to serious global investment in football.

Additionally, it was recently announced that former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has been hired to coordinate the coaches of the various Red Bull teams. This move further confirms Red Bull’s ambition, as the company is no longer content with dominating Formula 1.
