Red Bull and Racing Bulls reveal launch time for their 2026 F1 cars. Red Bull and Racing Bulls to unveil new cars: presentation time announced.

RB, Racing Bulls, 2025 F1

On 15 January, Red Bull and Racing Bulls will be the first teams to lift the veil on their new cars, officially opening the presentation season. The launch event will take place in Detroit, the home of Ford, paying tribute to the American brand’s debut in Formula 1 as a power unit manufacturer. The official time of the event has now been revealed, making it clear when fans in Italy will be able to watch it live.

Laurent Mekies, Red Bull team principal, spoke about the connection with the historic American brand: The launch of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains era represents not only a bold step into the future, but also a powerful expression of what can be achieved when world-class engineering, innovation and passion come together.

Seeing the energy, precision and scale of this project is truly inspiring. It is the culmination of several years of collaboration between two great names in motorsport. We are incredibly excited to begin this new chapter, driven by the same determination and excellence that define both Ford and Red Bull, he added.

The enthusiasm of Jim Farley, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company

Jim Farley, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, also expressed his satisfaction: Since we announced our return to Formula 1 with Red Bull, the Ford team has been working day and night to prepare for 2026. But this is not just about racing. It is about how we use the lessons learned in Formula 1 to improve our cars and our trucks for our customers. What we will learn together with Red Bull will shape the technologies of the future, and that is what excites me most about this partnership.

The excitement of Peter Bayer, CEO of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls

Peter Bayer, CEO of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, highlighted the importance of Ford’s return to the sport: We are incredibly excited to once again welcome Ford to the world of Formula 1. With more than 125 years of heritage, innovation and absolute dedication to performance, Ford embodies the same competitive spirit that drives our team. This partnership brings together global brands united by a passion for racing and a commitment to pushing boundaries.

As a member of the Red Bull family and together with our main partners, Visa and Cash App, we see huge opportunities to join forces and connect with a new generation of fans by showcasing the future of performance and mobility on a global stage. Launching this new era in Detroit, Ford’s home city, makes it even more special, he concluded.

What time will the car presentation be shown in Italy?

Considering that the event in Detroit will take place on 15 January at 22:00 local time, fans in Europe will be able to watch it at 4:00 Central European Time in the morning on 16 January due to the time difference. Anyone wishing to follow the presentation live will be able to do so via Red Bull’s official YouTube channel. We will keep you updated with further information over the coming days.
