RB22 launch 2026: Red Bull and Ford reveal new cars in Detroit

The winter break is finally coming to an end, and Formula 1 is ready to fire up its “new” engines for the 2026 season. In exactly eight days, the starting grid will begin to fill with the new cars. Next Friday, both Red Bull and Racing Bulls will reveal their 2026 cars during an event held in Detroit, the city of Ford’s historic headquarters and the team’s new partner.

Although this is the first power unit entirely built in Milton Keynes thanks to the new RBPT department, the support of the American car manufacturer has been essential.

In recent hours, Ford’s social media channels have shared a small “trailer” previewing what will happen on January 15. Next Friday, the event will not only showcase the Formula 1 cars but also all the vehicles sponsored by Ford across multiple categories, including the Dakar Rally, NASCAR, and many others. The event will be streamed live on their website, fordracing.com.
