Racing Bulls unveils striking Japan GP livery: A tribute to the Land of the Rising Sun. F1 | Racing Bulls’ VCARB03 cars get Japanese-inspired look for Japan GP.

Racing Bulls has unveiled a fresh new look. The Faenza-based team, preparing to take part in the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend at the Suzuka circuit, presented a new livery that will be used on the cars of Liam Lawson and rookie Arvid Lindblad.

The presentation took place during the Red Bull Tokyo Drift event, a gathering of more than 500 modified cars that also featured drifters and live DJ sets.

The livery for the VCARB03 cars was designed in collaboration with Bisen Aoyagi, a renowned expert in Japanese calligraphy. It is dominated by two primary colors, reflecting the Japanese flag: a white base, accented with bold strokes of red intended to highlight and enhance specific areas of the car’s bodywork.

The Red Bull logos on the nose, airbox, and engine cover remain unchanged, while the rest of the car has been completely redesigned.

On the nose, white dominates, with red limited to the side elements and borders, trailing behind the iconic bull motifs that follow the usual yellow details. The front wing is also white, with Japanese script in red matching the top portions of the endplates.

The red color becomes more prominent towards the rear of the car. From the sidepods backward, although white remains the main canvas, red appears just above the sidepod intakes and along the sidepod ramps, extending to the rear portion of the engine cover near the Coca-Cola corner section.

The rear wing follows a similar concept to the front wing, with white as the dominant color and red appearing on the outer faces of the endplates, but only in the upper sections.

Another stylish touch is the font of the car numbers for Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad. Numbers 30 and 41 are inspired by traditional Japanese brush script, reflecting the history and culture of the country hosting the third round of the 2026 F1 World Championship.

Matching the car, the drivers’ outfits are also inspired by the new livery. Large areas of white with red brush-style accents and Japanese lettering complement a marketing initiative from a team that has consistently focused on this aspect, fully in line with Red Bull’s motorsport branding and overall mission.
