Racing Bulls run second filming day at Imola with Arvid Lindblad and VCARB02. Racing Bulls complete a filming day at Imola with Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson, and Arvid Lindblad.

While Formula 1 is currently in the midst of a short summer break between races, the Racing Bulls team is taking advantage of the quiet period to carry out their second official filming day of the season. The Faenza-based squad is on track at the historic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, running a full program that includes mileage for multiple drivers — Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson, and young talent Arvid Lindblad.

As per FIA sporting regulations, each Formula 1 team is allowed two filming days per season, each limited to a maximum of 200 kilometers. These days are primarily designed for media and promotional purposes, but they also offer a valuable opportunity for drivers to get behind the wheel and gather more experience in a real-world environment. The first filming day for Racing Bulls took place earlier in the season and featured Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar. At that time, they were the official race driver pairing before a reshuffle within the Red Bull driver pool led to Yuki Tsunoda being promoted to Red Bull Racing and Liam Lawson returning to Racing Bulls.

Now, with the team undergoing changes in its driver line-up, this second filming day is being used not only to capture fresh footage of the current car — the VCARB02 — with its latest drivers but also to give them more track time ahead of the demanding second half of the season. Both Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson are sharing driving duties with the 2025 VCARB02, though the car is running on special Pirelli demo tires, which are used during filming days and are significantly different in performance from the standard tires used during race weekends.

Another highlight of the day is the participation of Arvid Lindblad, one of the most promising young talents in the Red Bull Junior Team. The British-Swedish driver is taking the wheel of the AT04 — the 2023 Racing Bulls chassis — for an extended test session. This opportunity is aimed at preparing him for upcoming Free Practice 1 sessions later in the season, where he is scheduled to represent Racing Bulls in an official Grand Prix weekend.

For Arvid Lindblad, this test at Imola adds to a growing list of important milestones. Back in June, he already had the chance to drive the AT04 during a private test, and more recently, during the British Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone, he made his Free Practice 1 debut in a Formula 1 car. On that occasion, Lindblad drove the Red Bull Racing RB21, replacing Yuki Tsunoda, and completed a solid session, finishing 14th fastest — about half a second behind Max Verstappen’s time, who was 10th on that same Friday session.

Adding a nostalgic touch to the day’s activities, a Toro Rosso STR1 — the team’s 2006 F1 car — also made a brief appearance on track. Driven by its current owner, a Dutch enthusiast, the car was run for a couple of celebratory laps to mark the 20th anniversary of Red Bull Racing’s entry into Formula 1.

This filming day at Imola allowed Racing Bulls to optimize track time for both experienced and young drivers, while also continuing their ongoing efforts to develop talent and prepare for future race weekends.
