America, as we know, is every year the stage for stylistic experiments by drivers and teams. This explains why Ferrari, Sauber, and other squads have chosen to hit the track in Miami with special liveries to celebrate the event.
The first to unveil their “modified” car was Sauber, which opted for a special design inspired by modern art. The C45 that will be seen on track in Florida celebrates Miami’s creative spirit with a unique livery still based on black and green.
As for Ferrari, expectations were high following recent speculation. Many believed that the Maranello-based team might adopt a livery dominated by white, as suggested by the merchandise released for the event. In reality, the SF-25 that will appear in Miami remains largely similar to the one seen so far, with the exception of the design of the front and rear wings and part of the engine cover. The blue representing the HP brand will play a more prominent role. This also explains the suit choices: Leclerc and Hamilton will not be dressed in red this season either.
A Third Special Livery Arrives for Miami
In addition to the two already mentioned, a third special livery has been unveiled in Miami—this time from Racing Bulls, driven by Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar. The choice here is a pink-and-white combo meant to promote a new Red Bull flavor that will be sold in the U.S. Once again, as with Ferrari, the reason behind the change is tied to sponsorship rather than any specific theme.
