Mercedes star Kimi Antonelli announces surprise appearance at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Kimi Antonelli set to drive Mercedes cars at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Kimi Antonelli has confirmed a last-minute addition to his schedule, announcing that he will take part in this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The current Formula 1 championship leader will make his first-ever appearance at the iconic event, which takes place from July 9 to 12.

The famous Hillclimb will also feature one of Formula 1’s brightest young stars. With a surprise announcement on social media, Kimi Antonelli confirmed that he will be attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

It will be the Italian driver’s first appearance at Goodwood. Antonelli revealed that he will drive several Mercedes cars on Thursday, sharing his excitement about experiencing one of motorsport’s most celebrated events for the very first time.

“Surprise! I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be driving some Mercedes cars up the Goodwood Hill on Thursday. I can’t wait to experience it, as it’ll be my first time there, and I look forward to seeing all of you.”

F1 championship leader Kimi Antonelli will therefore make his debut appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this Thursday, driving for the Mercedes team.
