Stuttgart-based Mercedes issued an important announcement today, titled a “statement of intent” in their post. It seems the German team truly believes the 2026 season could hold something truly special and have a significant impact on the future.
Yesterday, Toto Wolff shared a few simple but meaningful words, while today the team decided to directly engage with fans, announcing planned activities aimed at giving supporters close access to the team, right at the heart of their two facilities.
Mercedes highlights 2026: “A journey shaped by integrity and elevated by refinement”
“Statement of intent,” reads the social media post. “You, our fans, are an integral part of who we are. As we enter a new era, we are committed to involving you in our activities, bringing you closer to the action, the innovation, and the ambition that drives us. Our journey is constantly evolving: guided by performance, shaped by integrity, and elevated by refinement. Throughout the year, we will open new doors, share new perspectives, and bring you closer to the heart of our Lauda and Morgan Drive facilities. We have new dreams to achieve, and we want you to be part of our team.”
The announcement mainly communicates the intention to create new initiatives, but apart from the locations, no further details were provided. Dates will be announced later. What is known is that sessions will take place throughout the year, allowing fans to visit Lauda Drive, the main avenue of the Brackley technical campus, and Morgan Drive, home to the Brixworth site where power units are designed (Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains). Fans are already excited, eagerly awaiting the chance to participate in these exclusive events.
As Mercedes prepares to open the doors of its inner sanctum at Lauda and Morgan Drive, the team is signaling a new level of transparency and fan engagement for the 2026 era. By inviting supporters into the very halls where the next generation of power units and aerodynamics are forged, the Silver Arrows are turning a technical revolution into a shared human experience. This move not only celebrates the team’s rich heritage but also builds a bridge to a future where the boundary between the garage and the grandstands continues to blur, making 2026 a landmark year for the Mercedes community.
