Max Verstappen, the baby is on the way
The countdown is on—Max Verstappen is about to become a father. His partner Kelly Piquet will soon give birth to their first child together (she is already the mother of little Penelope, whose father is former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat).
Until now, Max Verstappen and Piquet have kept details about the baby strictly private. However, from Nelson Piquet’s daughter’s latest post, it’s clear the child will be a girl. During the celebration for the soon-to-arrive member of the Verstappen household, a woman (possibly her sister Julia) wrote in a guestbook, “I’m so happy another girl is joining the family.”

Kelly Piquet is believed to be in the final weeks of pregnancy. On December 30, she had said she would soon be entering the third trimester. It’s therefore possible that Max Verstappen could become a father while competing on a race weekend, as Formula 1 will be in Bahrain this weekend and in Saudi Arabia over Easter weekend.
