Max Verstappen chooses a white-red helmet
Max Verstappen will race the Suzuka GP with a special helmet dedicated to the Land of the Rising Sun. The world champion’s choice features references to Japan, including its color scheme (white and red, just like the Japanese flag) and lotus flowers on the lower rear part.

This is the helmet Max Verstappen will wear in Japan.
In 2024, Max Verstappen raced in Japan with his classic helmet—still white but with red, blue, and yellow elements—while opting for a special design at some European races (including Zandvoort), where he showcased an entirely orange livery.
Suzuka has been a favorable track for the four-time world champion: with the current generation of cars, he has taken pole position and victory every time, even clinching his second title there in 2022. Achieving a fourth consecutive win appears very challenging given Red Bull’s current struggles, but Super Max can never be counted out of the fight.
