LEGO is paying tribute to Ayrton Senna once again with a new Formula 1 set recreating the Brazilian legend’s iconic helmet. The LEGO Editions Ayrton Senna Helmet will contain 931 pieces, include an Ayrton Senna minifigure and is scheduled to become available on September 1, 2026.
The release continues the growing partnership between Formula 1 and LEGO, which has produced an expanding collection aimed at both younger fans and collectors. For Ayrton Senna, it represents another brick-built tribute following the McLaren MP4/4 set inspired by one of the most famous cars he drove during his extraordinary Formula 1 career.
LEGO Ayrton Senna helmet set includes 931 pieces
The new model is officially named the LEGO Editions Ayrton Senna Helmet and consists of 931 pieces. The set recreates the instantly recognisable helmet design associated with the three-time Formula 1 world champion, whose yellow, green and blue colours became one of the defining visual symbols of his career.
The set will be priced at €89.99 and also includes an Ayrton Senna minifigure, adding another collectible element to the display model.
It joins the growing range of Formula 1 helmet sets produced by LEGO, which already includes models dedicated to current drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
Another LEGO tribute to Ayrton Senna after the McLaren MP4/4
This is not the first time LEGO has celebrated Ayrton Senna. One of the most notable previous releases recreated the McLaren MP4/4, the car with which the Brazilian contested the legendary 1988 Formula 1 season.
The helmet offers a very different type of tribute. Rather than recreating an entire Formula 1 car, the new set focuses on one of the most recognisable pieces of racing equipment in motorsport history and a design immediately associated with Ayrton Senna around the world.
The model therefore expands LEGO’s Formula 1 collection beyond cars and current driver merchandise, while giving Senna fans another display piece connected directly to his career.
Ayrton Senna LEGO helmet release date and price
The LEGO Editions Ayrton Senna Helmet will be released on September 1, 2026, with a retail price of €89.99. Pre-orders are already available ahead of the official launch.
With 931 pieces and an Ayrton Senna minifigure included, the set adds another high-profile name to LEGO’s rapidly expanding Formula 1 range. Following the McLaren MP4/4, the helmet represents another tribute to one of the most celebrated drivers in the history of the championship and one whose image remains instantly recognisable more than three decades after his final Formula 1 race.
