Lando Norris races McLaren boss Zak Brown in epic karting showdown – Video. Lando Norris returns to the track to face McLaren CEO Zak Brown in a high-stakes karting challenge.

Lando Norris, 2025 F1

Lando Norris is back behind the steering wheel, but this time he’s trading his Formula 1 machinery for karts to take on his boss, Zak Brown.

The F1 season reached a thrilling conclusion with the British driver securing the world title, celebrating the sport’s most prestigious achievement alongside the team that has supported and nurtured him since his debut in the category. However, before heading off for a well-deserved winter break, Lando Norris made one final appearance on track to settle a score with Zak Brown.

Reflecting on the team’s dynamics and Lando Norris’s success, Zak Brown spoke openly following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where the championship was decided. “We have two great drivers, we want to race hard and in the right way. We know that involves risks. I couldn’t be happier for Lando, and I can’t wait to celebrate the title with Oscar as well,” the McLaren CEO stated after watching Lando Norris fulfill every driver’s ultimate dream.

A few weeks after that emotional finale, the champion driver and the CEO of the British outfit reunited for a karting showdown where speed was the only thing that mattered. The competition was split into three distinct challenges designed to test their versatility. In the first round, the pair faced a timed slalom through a series of cones. This stage required a delicate balance of raw pace and clinical precision; hitting a cone resulted in a time penalty, a trap that neither competitor managed to avoid during their runs.

The intensity ramped up in the second phase, which focused on a simulated pit stop. After completing the stationary challenge, the two rivals had to jump back into their karts and sprint to complete a flying lap in the fastest time possible. In short, this karting face-off serves as a lighthearted celebration of McLaren’s successful season, pitting the new world champion against his boss to see who truly possesses the quickest reflexes. It is a perfect demonstration of the unique chemistry and competitive drive that propelled the team to the top of the standings this year.
