How Cadillac plans to use AI in Formula 1: partnership with TWG. Cadillac announces a multi-year partnership with TWG AI.

Cadillac F1

Cadillac is taking a major step toward its entry into Formula 1, announcing a strategic multi-year partnership with TWG AI. The American team has confirmed that TWG AI will be its primary and exclusive partner for artificial intelligence as Cadillac prepares for its 2026 World Championship debut.

The partnership aims to integrate advanced AI systems into the team’s daily operations, improving decision-making processes, data analysis, and performance extraction at every level. This move aligns with Cadillac’s ambition to present itself as a modern, forward-looking Formula 1 project.

AI as the key to the 2026 debut

TWG AI provides enterprise-level solutions designed to unify data, people, and decisions within a single adaptive system. As the first new team to enter Formula 1 in over a decade, Cadillac represents the ideal testing ground for applying these technologies in one of the most competitive environments in the world.

“We are proud to welcome TWG AI as our first primary partner,” said Dan Towriss. “From day one, we wanted to build a team designed for the future of Formula 1. TWG AI’s intelligence will be integrated into our daily operations, helping us make faster, smarter decisions.”

Intelligence as a performance multiplier

The agreement stems from a shared vision that artificial intelligence, when properly designed, can act as a true performance multiplier. This principle applies equally to sport and the corporate world.

“This partnership reflects our belief that AI can make a difference in high-pressure environments,” explained Drew Cukor. “The challenges we face with Cadillac are similar to those in many large enterprises: rapid decisions, precise information, and high stakes.”

Building from scratch, without inherited systems

According to Graeme Lowdon, the value of this collaboration lies in the opportunity to start from a blank page. “Creating a Formula 1 team from scratch is a rare opportunity,” he noted. “We can design the right foundations from the very beginning, without inheriting legacy systems. TWG AI’s approach is perfectly aligned with this philosophy.”

Looking beyond the track

The collaboration will extend beyond on-track activities. TWG AI will leverage its experience with Cadillac as a platform for wider discussion, organizing initiatives and meetings around key F1 calendar events to explore how unified intelligence can transform both economic and decision-making models.

The partnership between Cadillac and TWG AI represents a strategic leap forward in how new Formula 1 teams utilize technology to bridge the gap to the front of the grid. By embedding artificial intelligence into the team’s DNA before the first car is even built for 2026, Cadillac is ensuring that its operational foundations are as advanced as its engineering. This collaboration showcases how Cadillac aims to leverage the “blank slate” advantage to create a hyper-efficient, data-driven organization capable of competing at the highest level of motorsport from the very beginning.
