Will Franco Colapinto Miss the Race?
Beyond repairing the car, Franco Colapinto must also pass medical checks before being cleared to race. Williams issued a statement outlining the uncertainty surrounding his participation.
“During qualifying, Franco experienced an impact exceeding 50G, necessitating a medical evaluation. An impact of this magnitude is undoubtedly dangerous, and he will need to be assessed before the race to determine if he is fit to compete. Franco’s health is our top priority, and we are greatly relieved that he is doing well. We will provide updates as soon as we have them,” the statement read.
