F1 | Williams, everyone wants Franco Colapinto: he holds back on 2025 and expresses gratitude. Franco Colapinto is showing remarkable progress in his first season with Williams in F1.

Franco Colapinto, the young Argentine driver, is showing remarkable progress in his first season with Williams in Formula 1. He replaced Logan Sargeant mid-season, who was expelled from the Grove team due to disappointing performances after nearly two years in Formula 1. Franco Colapinto has already achieved notable placements, including a twelfth, eighth, and eleventh place in the races he has competed in so far. In an interview for the RacingNews365 website, Franco Colapinto reiterated his dedication to finishing the current season as best as possible, while also expressing his hope to continue his adventure in the world championship. “I haven’t immersed myself too much in the news lately. Right now, my focus is on Williams, and I believe we are doing a great job together. My main goal is to finish this year in the best way possible, continuing to learn and improve. I still have a lot to learn, and we’ll see what the future holds for next year,” said the Argentine.

Franco Colapinto also highlighted the extraordinary opportunity offered by the British side, thanking Williams Racing Team Principal James Vowles and the entire team for their support. “I’m not thinking about 2025, I’m focusing exclusively on the fantastic opportunity I’ve had to work with James and the Williams team. We are making significant progress together, and I am convinced this is the right direction. Of course, it would be a dream to stay in Formula 1, and I’m very proud to be part of this team,” he added.

Franco Colapinto’s performances so far indicate a strong ability to adapt and a determination that are essential qualities to succeed in the competitive world of Formula 1. With the goal of maximizing every opportunity in the remaining races of the season, the Williams rookie is establishing himself as a driver to watch in the coming years.
