The renewal between Red Bull and Oracle has now been made official, with the American tech giant set to remain title sponsor of the Formula 1 team. Oracle Red Bull Racing has formally announced the extension of its contract with Oracle, strengthening one of the most high-profile and successful partnerships in modern F1.
After four years marked by unprecedented success, the Milton Keynes-based squad and the global technology powerhouse have signed a new multi-year agreement extending their title partnership. This renewal not only confirms Oracle’s branding presence on the car, but also guarantees long-term technical and commercial stability as the team prepares for the next regulatory cycle.
Since the beginning of the collaboration, Oracle has done far more than simply lend its name to the livery. It has become a central pillar of trackside operations. Through the use of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and artificial intelligence tools, the team has been able to optimise race strategy by running billions of simulations. Massive volumes of data are processed and converted into winning strategic calls — a contribution that has played a role in securing three Drivers’ World Championships with Max Verstappen and two Constructors’ titles.
The key figures speak: Mekies and Magouyrk
Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, expressed strong satisfaction with the renewed agreement. “We rely on Oracle’s expertise to optimise countless variables at a speed that is unmatched by our competitors,” he stated. “With Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI, we can adapt quickly, make smarter decisions and maintain the level of performance required to win championships. We are confident in the continued success of this partnership.”
Clay Magouyrk, CEO of Oracle, also underlined the strategic importance of the collaboration. “The same technologies we use on track are powering business transformation across every industry,” he said. “Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI deliver the speed and intelligence needed to win both in racing and in business.”
What role will Oracle play after the renewal?
Looking ahead, Oracle and Red Bull Racing will implement a new AI-based strategic agent designed to further enhance race operations. This tool represents a decisive step forward for race engineers. The system will automate data collection and interpret both historical and real-time inputs, enabling the team to react even faster to constantly changing track conditions throughout the season.
The new 2026 Red Bull Ford Powertrains engine project marks a major technical milestone. Designing a power unit from a clean sheet of paper in just four years is an enormous challenge — one the team has fully embraced. Red Bull has leveraged OCI’s high-performance computing capabilities to validate components in record time. Oracle will continue supporting system integration across the season as development progresses.
The 2026 technical regulations introduce a more complex strategic landscape, requiring richer and more sophisticated simulation models. Simulations run on OCI will factor in elements such as active aerodynamics and the management of the new-generation battery systems. These advanced models will provide drivers and strategists with extremely precise, data-driven guidance. Thanks to Oracle’s scalable infrastructure, the team can evaluate thousands of potential race scenarios — amounting to billions of simulations.
The partnership also extends beyond the racetrack into business operations through Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Red Bull Racing will use integrated AI solutions across finance, human resources and marketing departments. The objective is clear: optimise budget allocation while strengthening fan engagement. Enhanced loyalty programmes and increasingly personalised digital content will offer supporters a deeper and more tailored connection with the team.
