F1 | Cadillac unveils special livery for the Miami Grand Prix
The American team has revealed a special Miami Grand Prix livery for the MAC-26 cars. The colour scheme remains black and white, but with white as the dominant base and a stars-and-stripes design featured on the rear section of the car.
Cadillac is preparing to take part in its first Formula 1 Grand Prix as a home team. This weekend, the squad led by Graeme Lowdon will compete at the Miami Grand Prix with a dedicated special livery.
The team’s traditional colours remain unchanged—black and white—but the white tone will form the base of the new look applied to the MAC-26 cars driven by Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.
The white base design has been created to reflect the United States flag. Stars and stripes are mainly featured on the engine cover and the rear section of the sidepods, just behind the title sponsor branding.
All 50 stars representing the 50 US states are included in the design, symbolically bringing the entire country onto the bodywork of the American single-seaters. While the main body of the car remains black and white, the rear wing features a different colour treatment. On the wing elements, the word “USA” appears, painted using the three colours of the American flag.
In addition to the car, both Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will also wear special race suits featuring different designs and colours compared to their usual racing gear.
“The Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s special livery for the Miami Grand Prix is a natural extension and communicates without excess. It is considered and confident,” said Cassidy Towriss, Chief Brand Advisor of the Cadillac Formula 1® Team.
“This is our first home race, and it was important for us that fans recognise what they have come to know. I can’t wait for the public to see it on track for the first time. There is no place like home.”
“Miami is an important moment for the team and we are proud to have our name on the car for this occasion. This new livery for our first American race is more than just a design — it is a statement of identity and intent.”
“It celebrates the shared legacy of two American brands coming together, united by a relentless drive to push boundaries and innovate. This synergy is what makes this partnership so special, and this livery is a bold expression of the ambition and forward-thinking spirit that TWG AI brings to the team,” added Drew Cukor, President of TWG AI.
Cadillac’s special Miami livery serves as a powerful tribute to the team’s American roots as they prepare for their inaugural home race on the F1 calendar. By blending their sophisticated black-and-white identity with the patriotic symbolism of the stars and stripes, the team is signaling both its heritage and its long-term ambitions in the sport, ensuring that Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will stand out as they take to the track at the Hard Rock Stadium.
