F1 – Bad luck continues for Kimi Antonelli: even his holiday is not trouble-free. Young Formula 1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli suffers another stroke of bad luck during his summer holiday.

Kimi Antonelli, 2025 F1

Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the promising young driver from Bologna, seems to be followed relentlessly by bad luck, even when far from the Formula 1 circuits. After experiencing a string of difficult race weekends at the wheel of his Mercedes, the Italian talent has now been involved in an unusual and rather comical mishap during his summer holiday.

According to what emerged on social media, Andrea Kimi Antonelli was enjoying a relaxing day at sea aboard his personal jet ski, taking advantage of the break between races to unwind. However, the peaceful outing came to an abrupt and unexpected halt when the jet ski suddenly ran out of fuel. The incident brought his fun to an immediate stop and left him stranded, forcing him to call for help from friends who were accompanying him on the outing.

From the high-pressure Mercedes pit garage to the waves of the open sea, Antonelli’s streak of misfortune appears to be unbroken. In recent Formula 1 races, the young driver has had to deal with a series of setbacks that have heavily affected his results on track, ranging from difficulties managing the behaviour of the car to persistent reliability issues. His 2025 campaign has so far been far from straightforward, with each race bringing new obstacles to overcome.

Now, even away from the competitive intensity and demands of the championship, fate has once again tested him. Stranded in the middle of the water with an empty fuel tank, Antonelli was eventually towed back to shore by one of his friends. The scene reportedly sparked laughter among those present and generated some light-hearted teasing, showing that even misfortune can sometimes turn into an amusing story.

Despite the inconvenience, Andrea Kimi Antonelli demonstrated a positive and relaxed attitude, sharing the episode online as a humorous anecdote from his holiday. This unexpected adventure, while inconvenient, brought a touch of levity to his break from racing.

For Kimi Antonelli and his supporters, the hope now is that these unlucky episodes will remain confined to his summer leisure time. Fans are eager to see him return to the track ready to focus fully on the upcoming Formula 1 races, with the aim of making headlines again for strong performances and competitive results rather than for off-track misadventures.
