Audi is getting ready to reveal the livery of its first Formula 1 car, while also giving fans a first look at its official merchandise for the 2026 season. As the new season approaches, teams are starting to reveal liveries, technical concepts, and merchandising. After Red Bull, Racing Bulls, and a few glimpses from Ferrari, Audi is now stepping into the spotlight with its own announcements.
The team is one of the most anticipated newcomers for 2026, marking the start of Audi’s F1 journey. Drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto have already had their first experience with the new car during a shakedown and filming day held in Barcelona on January 9.
The next time the R26 will hit the track will be for the official pre-season tests at the same Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, scheduled for January 26-30. However, the car’s livery has yet to be officially unveiled, with the presentation planned for Berlin on January 20, followed by further events on the next day.
Audi 2026 merchandise revealed
Just one day before the big event, Audi decided to give fans a sneak peek at the helmets that will be worn by Hülkenberg and Bortoleto, and more recently, the official 2026 merchandise. The kit features a variety of gray tones for shirts and caps, complemented by white and red accents.
The 2026 merchandise is produced in collaboration with Adidas, which has been supplying Mercedes since 2025. The only items not yet revealed are the racing suits, although the team appeared in black jackets during the Barcelona shakedown, and Nico Hülkenberg was pictured holding his helmet in a black outfit.
It remains to be seen whether this color scheme will be official, or if Audi will provide further details in the coming days. For fans, this first glimpse already gives a taste of the team’s style and branding for its highly anticipated debut season.
