Cadillac has decided to break all the conventions for its Formula 1 debut. No theater, no traditional live streams, no factory events: the American brand will use the most-watched sporting event in the United States, the Super Bowl, to reveal the livery of its first F1 car to the world.
This choice perfectly aligns with the brand’s identity and its goal of bringing Formula 1 even closer to the U.S. market. The official presentation of the 2026 livery will take place on Sunday, February 8, through a commercial aired during the Super Bowl halftime show.
When to watch in Europe
The event will also be visible from Europe, both on TV and through dedicated motorsport coverage.
Time references (Europe):
- Super Bowl start: 00:30 on the night of Sunday, February 8 to Monday, February 9
- Cadillac presentation – during the halftime show: approximately between 02:00 and 02:30 CET
A move that reflects the team philosophy
This presentation is not just a spectacular stunt. It sends a clear message.
Cadillac wants to enter F1 with a strong identity, focusing on spectacle, mass communication, and engaging the audience beyond traditional motorsport channels.
Unveiling the livery during the Super Bowl means speaking not only to Formula 1 fans but also to over 100 million viewers. It’s a way of showing that Cadillac is entering F1 not just to participate, but to make a statement from the very first moment.
