Aston Martin announces partnership with Breitling and unveils first limited-edition watch
Aston Martin has signed a multi-year partnership with Swiss watchmaker Breitling, naming it as the Official Watch Partner starting from 2026. The announcement also included the launch of the first limited-edition timepiece born from this collaboration.
This partnership brings together two brands rooted in precision and speed. While Aston Martin demonstrates speed on the track, Breitling’s role is to measure it. In 1907, Leon Breitling introduced the “Vitesse,” the French word for “speed,” marking the first chronograph capable of measuring velocities up to 250 miles or kilometers per hour. Even when Aston Martin made its Formula 1 debut in 1959, drivers Graham Hill and Jim Clark wore Breitling Navitimers.
The new Aston Martin-Breitling agreement
The team highlighted that Breitling shares the same commitment to craftsmanship, engineering excellence, and precision as Aston Martin. Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team, commented on the partnership: “Our goal of winning a World Championship requires partners that match our ambition. Today we are proud to welcome Breitling to the team. Beyond a shared tradition, we are united by values that guide everything we do. Precision, craftsmanship, and engineering excellence, which we pursue at Aston Martin Aramco, are lived and breathed by Breitling. We look forward to working together.”
Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling, also highlighted the synergy between the brands: “Aston Martin builds cars that deliver both presence and performance. We share the same tradition of iconic design: every line, finish, and proportion has a purpose. Nothing is left to chance.”
Navitimer B01 43 limited-edition chronograph
The first product of this partnership is the Navitimer B01 43, limited to 1,959 pieces in honor of Aston Martin’s F1 debut. The watch features design elements inspired by the AMR6 livery, a lightweight titanium case—the first ever used on a Navitimer—and a carbon-fiber dial reflecting materials used in an F1 car. The textured leather strap recalls a racing harness, while optimized night-time visibility ensures readability in all conditions.
The Breitling logo will appear on the Aston Martin livery, which is yet to be revealed, and on team apparel starting from the season launch on February 9, 2026. The partnership will make its track debut at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from March 6–8, 2026.
A partnership built on time and speed
As Aston Martin explained, this collaboration will deliver exclusive innovations. The connection with Breitling is deeply rooted in history, tracing back to the 20th century. During the 1960s, both brands became symbols of style and modern engineering.
Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin, said: “Aston Martin and Breitling have intersected at key moments in design and culture. This partnership is a perfect demonstration of excellence, design mastery, and performance—all integral to everything Aston Martin represents.”
