
Official: Multi-year agreement between Audi and adidas
Two German powerhouses are joining forces in Formula 1. Audi and adidas have officially confirmed a multi-year partnership to provide sportswear, starting in 2026 when Audi makes its debut in Formula 1. With this collaboration, Audi will share a common thread with Mercedes, who also partners with another renowned German brand.

Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of the Board of Sauber Motorsport AG, highlighted the deep-rooted collaboration between the two brands. He said that Audi and adidas have decades of experience in high-level sports partnerships, built on shared values and a commitment to inspire through performance. According to Döllner, the new F1 partnership goes beyond innovation and peak performance, combining the strengths and vision of two leading brands. He also noted that the upcoming adidas collection will reflect clarity and precision, mirroring Audi’s new design philosophy. Döllner added that working with adidas to launch Audi’s entry into the pinnacle of motorsport demonstrates the strong trust and appreciation both brands have for their collaboration.
adidas celebrates the new motorsport venture
Bjørn Gulden, CEO of adidas, expressed pride in supporting the future Audi F1 team’s debut in the sport’s top tier. He explained that combining the four iconic Audi rings with adidas’ three stripes in the 2026 paddock marks an exciting new chapter in motorsport. Gulden highlighted that the partnership reflects adidas’ ongoing commitment to Formula 1 and its focus on collaborating with brands that share the same innovative vision, both on and off the track.
