Aston Martin reveals striking “From Rock to Racetrack” Monaco livery with Maaden. Aston Martin unveils iridescent Monaco livery inspired by mining and innovation.

The Monaco Grand Prix weekend has always been the most glamorous event on the Formula 1 calendar. It is no coincidence that teams often choose this occasion to unveil special liveries on the streets of the Principality.

In recent days, McLaren revealed the livery it will use to celebrate its 1,000th Grand Prix in Formula 1. This morning, it was Aston Martin’s turn to present its special colour scheme, created in collaboration with Maaden, one of the Silverstone-based team’s key partners.

The AMR26 cars will abandon the traditional Aston Martin green to make way for the “From Rock to Racetrack” campaign. The livery traces the transformation journey of metals and minerals into high-performance engineering. The idea is to show how materials extracted by Maaden are turned into essential components that help power modern society.

The design features an iridescent, colour-shifting finish created using a special coating material, used for the first time in Aston Martin’s history. The effect is a livery that visibly changes colour as the car runs through the iconic streets of Monaco, symbolising the transformation of raw materials into advanced technology. The same design will also be used on the race suits of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, as well as on the mechanics’ overalls and helmets.

“This weekend we are proud to pay tribute to our title partner Maaden through this exclusive special livery for the Monaco Grand Prix. More than just a livery, the entire campaign highlights the important role Maaden plays in shaping and transforming materials into components that we all use, including in the world of Formula 1. We are excited to see Maaden’s outstanding design on the streets of Monaco this weekend,” said Jefferson Slack, Aston Martin Managing Director Commercial.

“Minerals power the modern world, yet the mining industry remains one of the most underappreciated sectors. But that is now changing. Our partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team gives us a global platform to demonstrate this. We want the next generation of engineers, geologists, innovators and problem-solvers to understand that the materials shaping the future come from deep within the earth. And Maaden is at the heart of that story. With ‘From Rock to Racetrack’ we bring this to life: showing how the metals and minerals we extract are found in the technology, infrastructure and innovation that drive the world forward. This is more than just a campaign. It is a challenge: to look at mining, and at Maaden, differently,” added Bob Wilt, Chief Executive Officer of Maaden.
