Aston Martin has unveiled a special blue-accented livery for the 2026 United States Grand Prix, joining several Formula 1 teams celebrating the Austin weekend with one-off designs. The Silverstone-based team will introduce a revised look for its AMR26 at the Circuit of the Americas, marking five years of its partnership with Cognizant.
The United States Grand Prix has become one of Formula 1’s favourite occasions for special liveries, often connected to commercial partnerships, promotional campaigns or initiatives aimed at the American market. Six teams changed their cars’ colours in 2025, and the tradition is continuing in 2026, with several teams already announcing special designs for Austin.
Aston Martin joins Ferrari, Mercedes and Haas in Austin livery celebrations
Haas has chosen to celebrate Godzilla’s return to cinemas with a themed livery, while Cadillac has created a design inspired by Texas’s Western culture. Mercedes has also introduced blue details to promote its MANUFAKTUR personalisation programme, giving its car a different appearance for the United States Grand Prix.
Ferrari has also announced a special colour scheme for the SF-26, created in collaboration with HP. The initial announcement was accompanied by new red-and-white racing suits for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. The Maranello team’s special Austin livery for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc has since been unveiled, featuring graphics inspired by technical sketches and engineering drawings.
Williams has presented a special design dedicated to Marvel character Doctor Doom, although it has been applied only to a show car displayed in Austin. Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz will therefore compete with the team’s usual racing livery, rather than the promotional version.
Completing the group of teams announcing special Austin designs is Aston Martin, which is using the American Grand Prix to celebrate its five-year partnership with Cognizant.
Aston Martin AMR26 adopts blue accents for the 2026 United States GP
Aston Martin will bring a special version of its AMR26 to the Circuit of the Americas, featuring blue elements alongside the team’s traditional British racing green. The revised design celebrates a relationship that began in 2021, when Cognizant became one of the principal partners of the newly established Aston Martin Formula 1 operation.

The partnership began as Aston Martin returned to Formula 1 under its own name, and has since evolved alongside the team’s growth and transformation. The special livery provides a visual tribute to that relationship, incorporating a different colour into the AMR26’s familiar appearance for the Austin race weekend.
For Aston Martin, the one-off design also offers an opportunity to highlight a long-standing relationship at one of Formula 1’s most commercially significant events. The team continues to pursue its wider ambitions in the championship, with its Formula 1 development programme remaining an important part of its long-term strategy.
Lawrence Stroll celebrates five years of Aston Martin and Cognizant partnership
Since 2021, the collaboration between Aston Martin and Cognizant has developed alongside the team’s evolution. During 2026, Cognizant also became the team’s Global AI Services Partner, with the aim of supporting its technological development through applications of artificial intelligence.
The expanded role reflects the increasing importance of advanced technology in Formula 1, where teams continually seek improvements in their engineering processes and operational performance. Aston Martin’s relationship with Cognizant therefore extends beyond the branding displayed on its cars.
Lawrence Stroll, the team’s executive chairman, welcomed the anniversary and emphasised the significance of the relationship.
“Cognizant has been part of our journey since Aston Martin returned to Formula One in 2021, and we’re incredibly proud to celebrate five years of partnership together,” Lawrence Stroll said.
“The special livery in Austin is our way of celebrating that journey. It’s a visible thank you to Cognizant and its people for five years of partnership, while looking ahead to an exciting next chapter together.”
With Ferrari, Mercedes, Haas, Cadillac and Aston Martin introducing distinctive designs, the 2026 United States Grand Prix is shaping up to be another colourful occasion for Formula 1. The special liveries will add an extra visual element to the Austin weekend, while Aston Martin’s blue-accented AMR26 will mark an important anniversary in the team’s modern history.
