Alpine rises from the ashes: the incredible curse broken by Flavio Briatore. Since Flavio Briatore's return as executive advisor, Alpine has shown significant progress.

Flavio Briatore, 2024

Since Flavio Briatore’s return as executive advisor, Alpine has shown significant progress. In particular, the Brazilian Grand Prix will go down in the team’s history—let’s see why.

**Alpine, its best result since 2013**
Thanks to Esteban Ocon’s second place and Pierre Gasly’s third, the French team celebrated its first double podium since the 2013 Korean Grand Prix at Interlagos.

**A promising future…**
Under the leadership of new team principal Oliver Oakes and with Flavio Briatore’s expertise, the performance of the car has improved significantly.

The engineers’ efforts have long been focused on 2025, with the goal of getting closer to, if not breaking into, Formula 1’s top five.

And who knows—starting in 2026, with a Mercedes engine instead of a Renault, results like those in São Paulo might just become the norm…
